Flexi has been prompting me to update for a short while. I was hesitant to do it because sometimes crap happens. Well....My color profile disappeared. I kinda want to throw up. Once I get flexi back the way I want it how do I backup my profile?
I got the same 3 pieces from grimco. I think we leased 15k after paying some in cash. Payments are about $250 a month. It has really changed the way we do business. Not waiting for ups. Instant reprints on the fly. I've spent a few weekends figuring it out. Depending on your shop size fitting 3...
I save as pdf in corel quite a bit. Never anything that large. BUT if your art is not on the page or your page is not the correct size corel just assumes you wanted a blank page. My .02

I keep an external drive on site and take 1 home. Backup about every week or so with Microsoft sync toy. Unless your drive had a head crash or complete failure your data should be salvageable.

The most I've cut is 160 inches.but that was 2 8ft jobs.
The problem I was running into is when it reads the registration marks it goes from front to back and it gets bunched up in front of or behind the machine. 200 is just to much to deal with at a time.

I just had my first printer installed last week. This is the first time I have done a pile of decals. I don't know if it was cutting wonky last week. There was a lot going on.
I put a bleed and will test again once I get some more material. I did a small test print but didn't cut it out. Then I printed all 144 decals. Laminated and killed them all.

I'm having trouble and I don't know if it's summa or flexi. If I contour cut a rectangle it will be cut into the rectangle on the top and outside on the bottom. Is there a test or setting I should be doing to fix this?

Ok I think I got this going. Here is what I did for anyone buying a laminator with no real instructions.
The bar should not spin freely in the cardboard roll. If it does. Each bar has a beer can with a large rubber band. Loosen screws and pull a little of the rubber out.
Spread beer cans out...
