Is there a benefit to the OTF fonts compared to TTF fonts?

Is there a benefit to the OTF fonts compared to TTF fonts?

No difference in the way they cut or print, but otf are created using fewer
control points so they take up less file space. Also Layla has some auto
ligatures that work in some programs (Adobe). I'll send ttf as well as otf
in case the programs you use will not accept otf.
