CorelDraw x5 and Windows 8 ?

Well after purchasing CorelDraw x5, I tried to install it on my dell will windows 8 and it says it's not compatible, and then it says check the web or continue,

If I click continue it takes me to Corel and wants me to update to X6,

Has anyone else experienced this ?

Reinstall X5 and download the most recent hotfix and it should work fine... I'm running it on my Win 8 machines.

There is an artist here that uses a Microsoft Surface with corel and a generic pen... says it works good.
