Cutting

Hey Guys,

I have a SP-540V, when i put the job back in after laminating for cut, for example if im cutting 200x 100x100 stickers the first cut is perfect then as it goes across to the left the cuts get more and more inaccurate.

The last cut on that row is offset about 3mm and looks pretty ugly, then when it starts on the next line its the same thing, first is fine then progressively gets worse.

Any ideas what can cause this?

Check if your pinch rollers have cracks. Also, turn your heat off when cutting. These printers aren’t really that accurate after so may feet / inches. A dedicated cutter such as Summa or Graphtec will produce much more accurate cutting on long runs.
