Ethernet cable for Roland TrueVis

Hello there,
I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a certain brand/type of Ethernet cable I need to purchase for my Roland TruevVis vg2 540, I have checked the Manual for the printer and I can’t find any specifics on it.

I'm just using a generic cable...works fine.

ethernet cables are generic
they come cat5 and cat 6
cat6 is for the newer faster networks if both devices are gigabit speed devices
yours is not

Having only just realized, as my cable contract was about to expire, that the building I've been in for 2 years had access to dirt cheap fiber... Do not buy anything other than Cat 6.

For short cables, it doesn't make a difference
