Full color Yard Sign / Billboard quality ?

Good morning everyone. I have a customer I am going to be doing some full color yard signs for. I was going to print them in billboard quality but here is the question. Seeing as what PPI you set your file up as affects the DPI or final output what PPI have you used for something like this? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Anything 72 or over would be fine I would think.

Don't know what printer or rip you've got - but as kraigsnowden said - 72 dpi at full scale is fine.

Running a Roland SP-540V with VW.

Try one. We have done them like that but you may notice some banding. Depends on how picky your customer is.
