I have a Roland SP-300V and my question is about the Roland ink cartridges.

I was wondering if there is a way to pull the ink tap on the bottom of the cartridge out because when I weighted few of my old ink cartridges there seems to be a lot of ink left in each one.

Is there a way to get more of the ink out?

Thanks Jim

On those older Rolands you should just be able to take the cartridge out and put it back in to reset the ink counter. If that isn't happening, the tab is probably just sticking out too far. you can cut it or put some tape on there to hold it back but just keep in mind that it won't flag once it's truly empty so you will get in drop out eventually. It's up to you if the ink left is worth it.
