I updated my OSX software to Maverick on my Mac and now Inkscape won't open. If tried reinstalling it with no luck . Anyone else have any problems after upgrading?

Mac not playing well with Inkscape

Don't you have to use OSX11 for Inkscape. Have not upgraded to Mavericks as of yet but it works for me using 10.6.8 and X11, but I prefer Illustrator.

I had that problem, you just have to go to Astute's website and download the update.
