Oce Arizona 480 GT ink status question/issue

Hey everyone!

Might be a silly question but is the "ink status" just a placeholder in the software for the printer and shows totally random levels or it should be accurate?
Mine shows totally random levels and never warns for low ink level. Only warning I get is "vaccuum system error" once the bag is totally dry.

Is that normal?

In theory, the reading should be exact, but usually it's not. I wouldn't rely on this part of the software, it's faster to take a quick look at the bags.

Ink level is based on drop counting and guessing. When setting a new bag check that the level shows full. And yes, a quick at the bags is way more precise.
