Of Historical Interest...

I bookmarked this quite a while back and just got around to reading through some of the choices. It's a fascinating (to me, anyway) look at the history of the sign business- including some old school masters.
The Archive itself is an amazing repository, but I thought the specific page might be of interest to some you who, like me, go back to the days of hand-lettering signs (or still do!).

Should be interesting..... very rare for me to hand letter anymore, but I look at it this way, I'm a Classic now..... what I did for nothing, or close to it, all my life, is now considered and Art Form, if you will, and I can charge three times as much now, as I did back then....
