photoshop cs4 and tiff format file

My question is how can i save a file in a tiff format. When i go to Save As in the dialog box i don't see the Tiff Format.

go to Image>Mode.. you are probably in lab color mode

i would help but what i did was restart photoshop and checked again and i did see the tiff file format. I dont know why the first time i didnt see it.
