Right in the middle of pump replacement

We are in the middle of replacing a pump - first one ever. When we go to disconnect the pump tube from the tube running to the capping station, there is a silver stint that holds the two together. We can't get the tube to come off of the stent so that we can put the new tube into it - hope this makes sense. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

We just did that - that problem solved at least! Having two people working on this - booth poor vision - has been a little bit of a problem this morning
