Roland SP-540v onto Onyx Cut Server

Hello, i am hoping someone can guide me in the right direction.

I have a HP Latex 330 and SP-540v. Currently we print on the HP through Onyx then Cut on the SP540v through versacamm. We have and issues with the cut paths going and and cutting into the artwork and so on. We want to set the SP-540v onto our onyx cut server so we can streamline it and go through one RIP as we think this may solve our problem.

However, we have the SP540v set up on the onyx but our PORT configuration does not seem to be right and that is where are stuck.

We have a 5 port switch, 1.HP 2.SP540V 3.HP Comp 4.SP-540V comp.

Im sure its all the networking i am having trouble with, but I am stumped!

Any ideas on how to set this up...? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

Just set the IP you have on the printer to cutserver. Nothing else needed.

I will however tell you, roland printers as cutters are pain in the ass...

Aye, but we are struggling with the part. I think awe have identified the ip but what port does it need to be?
