Roland xc540

Is this a normal print or can it be better , I know my Epson can print better but I was wondering if solvent printers are different when it get down to small graphics, I'm printing on solvent media vinyl for stickers 4mil.not sure if this is cause by the head.ive Been reading a lot and finally bought a used Roland xc540, learning before I start offering new stuff, been doing regular vinyl decals and sublimation. Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

*I am not a technician. We've had our XC 540 for 7 years now, and NEVER had prints that bad. Good news is, your test print doesn't show any "deflected" nozzles, as far as I can see, so they they are probably just badly clogged. Try a head soak (search this forum for that!) Hopefully that will help.

BTW, are you using Roland inks or 3rd party? That can make a difference in the condition of your heads to.

3rd party , triangle inks.. for some reason it only happens on the sticker vinyl not on matt banner material.

I would try a powerful clean on all heads and see what happens.

Powerful cleaning is never suggested. It can only cause more damage if the head is clogged.

Really? I didn't know that. (Not sarcasm). I did several powerful cleans on a head like that and it came back. What is the danger?

The 2 tech's I've dealt with are donkeys, but they both mentioned it more than once.
