SP300v printing problems.

Happens only on printing black.

Done a manual cleaning & a medium auto cleaning.

any suggestions are appreciated! pic below!

I would change the black ink damper, check ink level,, it looks like the head is not laying down enough ink, also head could be going bad..

Just put all new inks in the printer. Tried printing from both flexi & versa.


Will try a test print and post a picture.

Will a "POWERFUL" head cleaning hurt the head? When i bought the printer, that is what was suggested not to do.

start with a new damper. Its probably clogged...cleaning is just emptying the head of ink. If you know how, try sucking ink through head from below caps. if its hard to pull, its probably a clogged damper. if you hear sucking noises, its probably bad captop, or head manifold

cleaning a with a cleaning cart is a waste of ink. (answering your PM:) I dont know the method to pull ink in a roland, but perhaps someone can chime in
