UV Antifreeze Mix

Anyone find that filling less than the amount in the manual gives longer lasting results?
I operate on a Mimaki UJF3042-FX and have serious problems with the water lack error. I've tried a variety of things to make the error occur less. Even today I had swapped out the mix yesterday and had the error this morning but so far so good. I notice that after 300ml the printer clears the error but the tank can still hold more of the mixture.

I have a 450ml tank for reference.

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
You have to have a leak somewhere. I only have experience with the bigger JFX200 model and the antifreeze barely ever has to be refilled. Mimaki even says that the antifreeze provided with the machine is a life time supply. I would do a very thorough inspection of the lines.

I've replaced my float sensor to find out the old sensor had mold growing in it that was giving the printer a faulty water lack error. The part itself was only $34 so a cheap fix.
