Van stripes - Ballpark?

I know this is a open pricing forum but i just wanted to know if i was in the ballpark for a quote i just did.

I received "k thanks" in reply so i am guessing i was too much for the customer.

It's a handicap van, They want a solid black stripe on the top section which is 2.5"x36' and the same on the middle of it which is 8.5"x36'. All on the side of the vehicle only. Going across doors which means seams, edge lips and all that jazz.

Using premium cast i quoted $745 installed, That's roughly $10.35 psf installed which i thought was reasonable. It's roughly 72 sq ft of vinyl total.

How did you figure 72 sq feet?

I get this:

2.5" + 8.5"= 11"

36 x 12= 432"

432x11=396/12=33sq feet

$745 seems way overpriced for a couple of stripes to me.

The stripes together are 11", so let's round up to 12" (1ft) and 36' is 36' on the sides x 2 sides is 72 sq ft

There are 2 sets of 36' stripes PER SIDE, One on top and one on the middle of the side

I figured it was 36" for both sides...that's a hella long van.
