VJ-628 Capping Station

My 628 is set to clean once a day. Almost every time it cleans the capping station is flooded with ink and the bottom of the head is soaked also.

I asked the tech at SignWarehouse where I bought it from and he suggested that the overflow was full. I've dumped it several times, that's not the problem.

I've updated the firmware on the machine hoping it was a bug in the newer printers but that's not it either.

Any suggestions?

Try doing a tubing flush. CR maintenance then when carriage is on far end push the down button on panel and it should start the pump which will keep emptying the cap while you fill it with a flushing solution. (thinking the tubing could be blocked by dried up inks) Let me know how it goes. Alias1
