Thanks everyone for the information, the Boss decided to go in a different direction for this issue. I will keep the information on hand for future reference should this issue ever arise again. Again thank you, the replies have been a great help.

Just recently went through a similar problem, possible that it could be a bad encoder sensor. If the encoder sensor doesn't send back a signal to the main board, the heads don't fire on a JV3. It's one of the only machines that does this without giving a motor error.

Since you mentioned that it is an overload error, I have disconnected the x-motor shaft from the grit roller in order for it to run without any resistance. After restart the error still displays in the monitor, is there a sensor that I may be missing somewhere?

I examined the grit roller and did find some debris, cleared the roller and pressed enter to reset. Unfortunately, the error 40 is still displayed.

I need help finding the vacuum pump and filter for my Gerber Ion UV printer so I can do some troubleshooting. I have a "vacuum pressure error" I'm trying to work out without having a new pump installed. Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated!
