  1. Ink expiration dates

From what I was told... *** Mimaki has changed their ink manufacturer and from here on out these inks will only have a shelf life of 6 months. From this point on when you are sold an ink from a dealer they will not be able to take these inks back even if it is close to the expiration date...
  2. Mimaki JV33 Series

In regards to my post on pricing. I no longer have these machines at the show special price. They are all spoken for. IF you have any questions about the machines themselves you are more then welcome to ask. Thank you!
  3. Mimaki JV33 Series

I have not seen any evidence of the head life being shortened as long as the owner takes normal care of the machine. Although the clogging does happen if the white ink isn't being used for long periods of time. As for the registration marks... those are printed at the same time the color is...
  4. Mimaki JV33 Series

Oops sorry! Yes the white ink prints first and then goes right back into the machine and has the colors print onto the white. Just in case I didn't make that clear in the last post.
  5. Mimaki JV33 Series

It dries as it comes out of the machine and then it pulls it right back in and repeats the process with the color ink. It doesn't have to cure or anything until after the image is completely finished. If someone is really looking to do white ink I personally would suggest a flatbed because of...
  6. Mimaki JV33 Series

This is true in most cases. White ink has a different thickness to the ink because of the titanium in it. In most machines you will hear that you need to stir up the ink every so often so it doesn't get clogged in the cartridge. White ink should be used a lot if you are looking for your machine...
  7. Mimaki JV33 Series

I've got that price beat and have support and supplies to back it up. Anyone interested please let me know.
  8. How to speed up printing on the versacamm?

Do you have Flexi? If you have Flexi and you print from there it is almost double the speed of using VersaWorks! Great feature.
  9. Help with VersaWorks

Nope I can't find it. You can try calling VSS 1-800-282-0245 and ask for Jennifer. She can probably help you reset it.
  10. Help with VersaWorks

You might have to reset the IP address on the machine. There are papers on how to do it. It's pretty easy... Let me see if I can find the paperwork on it and send it to you. Otherwise I would say call your local Roland Rep and they can talk you through it over the phone.
  11. Where do you "Mimakian's" get your inks?

Tubelite has the inks cheap. Just call the Indiana rep and they will give you pricing. Or look online tubelite.com
  12. florida graphic supply on service and support

Although this is a great site to ask these questions about support, it really only helps if you get answers from people in the same area as you. Some of the questions that you can ask each dealer is... How long is training and installation? How long does it take for you to come out after my...
  13. Flexi - Ease of use???

I can send you a trial disk that won't allow you to output, but it will allow you to try out the soft ware. Please send me your address if you are interested in receiving a demo disk. Thanks, GoodGirl
  14. Kitsap SignCo

The inks have been working for 5 years. Gerber is one of the top known digital companies out there thanks to the first Gerber Edge. They have been testing these inks for over 5 years and now it has finally hit the market. The shipments have been delayed for computer reasons. They made the...
  15. Print Problem - Ink Clogg?

STOP CLEANING THE MACHINE! You're wasting ink. It sounds like it's a cable that is burnt out. Are you out of warranty? If so I can probably talk you through how to trouble shoot this, but you are going to have to take things apart! So if you have a warranty that would be better. Let me know...
