Well I am only been giving limited info from the suppliers, they asked fro batch and serial # on the inks, told me it was bad and sent new ink. So best to my knowledge its 1 bag. The head has never returned to the same detail as before it happened, I just can't get that detail in the halftones...

Update - my ink supplier has contacted me stating that the batch of ink from Canon is bad and they are sending me new ink. Hopefully, this hasn't caused any lasting issues with my print heads that I have swapped around.

What's your rip/print settings, what happens if you print in UNI directional, do you get a better quality or is it the same? Possibly a height issue, what did you measure and what did you set the height as?

I have, but again the distance from where he is, to me at the bottom of the world makes things difficult! If I can get some more information on the bare printhead replacement and what is needed then I will buy a service key from him and replace my head, but I need to know the details etc before...

I have a 460GT with RMO, hardly ever use it, you'd be better buying aUV, latex or solvent printer for your roll needs. My previous machine was a hybrid, but again I would go flatbed + separate R2R. The cost of the RMO on the Océ was way way over the price of standalone, by a very large margin.
