There is no copy paste function for jobs, it just doesn't work. There isn't the quick color adjust for jobs as well. Which is super helpful. Going from regular profile to a soft profile was so nice. Also why is the interface so massive?
Everyone trying to do this CM5 is also like this. I still...
How did it go? I had another friend ask me for the part that goes under the machine. I was looking and I think all of the under attachment plates are standardized, friend wants me to sell him one... I might figure out a way to make it fit under all the machines with a slim design or something.
This might not be the best setup in the world, but I ran the machine without the filter or the inline fan and it was headache central. Once I got the inline fan the headaches stopped and the smells ended for me. Every now and then I might get a whiff but compared to nothing it is night and day...
I just have the Health Pro Plus. The Multigas wasn't around when I bought the original one. The filter runs 24/7 nonstop in the room. The inline fan runs when it is printing. There is no filtration in the fan. I thought about it but I was worried with the small hose size that it would mess with...
This is the attachment under my machine. I 3dprinted a rubber gasket to go between the plastic and the metal. Probably overkill here though. Just bolts into the housing made for the BOFA unit that Roland partners with another company to make. If you look up that unit it is pulling air through...
Just a simple mounted inline fan going to a 3dprinted part that attaches under the Roland machine. Then it goes to a traditional window vent for an AC unit that the window closes on. Total cost was like 150 dollars maybe. I will post some pictures in a minute.
There isn't much to photo. I 3D printed an attachment to go where the BOFA unit is supposed to attach to. I looked up the fan power CFM on the BOFA unit they sell. It was just a small fan that any 4 inch inline fan could pull. So I purchased a nice inline fan because I wanted it to be quiet. I...
Why don't you just extract the fumes out one of those windows you mentioned? That is what I do with my LG300. I have an inline fan and I 3dprinted a mount under the machine that goes to the place the BOFA machine attaches to, then I pipe those fumes out the window. The smell is gone completely...
Yes I do the UV lamps once a month as well. Usually on the 1st just so I remember. I also vacuum the sheet cutting groove on that day as well. Machine needs a lot of love and care. The ink waste is a lot better since the update. I went a full week and 3 days and it was only maybe a little under...
They are not extremely dirty no, but there is always a light misting of ink around all the print head areas where you wipe with the cleaning solution each day. The machine is just too expensive not to follow the recommended cleaning procedures. I want maximum up time for printing with the least...
You cannot put registration marks on more than one artboard. That being said, cuttingmaster5 is awful compared to CM4. The interface is worse and slower. I run two versions of illustrator just to have one with CM4 because I cannot stand CM5. It is a downgrade.
