If memory serves when the FX was first launched and for some time afterward it was a nightmare. Print issues, registrations issues etc... Since then I believe most if not all of the issues have been resolved. Our Edge 2/Envision combo makes great money every day.

Are using a usb connection? What driver do you have selected for the plotter?

Not sure what your budget is but you may want to look at the 320/400 instead of the 200/600. Much faster and in my mind more reliable. Didn't they replace those models with newer versions PV200 and PV320? The 200 prints very nice but after about 2 months you'll find it too slow guaranteed...

For my money Seal has pretty much the best laminators. But that particular model may not be what you need. It's your basic cold laminator with no bells and whistles. I wouldn't buy one without a take-up, it's just to much aggro if you are doing any kind of volume.
