  1. Roland SP300V - Cutting Force doesn't change

New blade holder, new blade, blade extension most likely is the issue, gotta dial that in after making changes. Pressure from the software side or cutter side could be another issue. Just went through this with my Graphtec plotter. That’s also a lot of heavy material and laminate cutting over...
  2. I need help with wrap design

For design, not the graphics or installation
  3. I need help with wrap design

Stacey, A Wrap design for 4 sides is usually $500+ for a job like that. Not free!
  4. Flexi Production Manager Closing in jobs.

I haven’t printed from Flexi in quite a while but I believe there is a setting “rip while printing” option? Try turning it off. Maybe it’s not keeping up… Also kill your screen saver if on, that can cause hiccups too I believe. Can’t hurt…
  5. Oil for Carriage Rod?

    Sewing machine oil.
  6. Dry Ice vinyl removal?

Got a call today to see if I remove vinyl lettering. I Said maybe send pics of the truck. He wanted to know if I would use Dry Ice or a heat gun…? Thought he was f in with me but dry ice removal is a thing… 35 years in business never heard of dry ice removal. Lol
  7. Customer wet applied wrap material

If you sold her the right material and laminate it’s on her not you… She didn’t install it correctly and probably didn’t prep the vehicle properly before installation. Edge seal pen won’t work and clear laminate strips will look pretty bad if it works at all.
  8. Brick Vinyl Removal and Install

Hopefully it comes up without leaving the adhesive on the wall, that would be a nightmare.
  9. Road sign pricing help

How many? Got some specs? Thick aluminum with reflective lettering? Wood carved with gold lettering? Need more details…
  10. Gemini Letters

Snap a few studs down to like 1/4 to 1/2in. Layout the letters on the paper with a drawn base line and press them down to leave the stud impression.
  11. What material is this?

I’m guessing Leo’s Smart Gold if it’s old. Not sure if it’s around anymore or changed names but It was hand gilded with real Gold Leaf and had a laminate extending over the edges. Sold to a lot of Fire Stations and sign shops.
  12. Adhesive Vinyl leaving residue on printer

I have a roll of it and the vinyl shrinks right on the rolled liner about a 1/16in. and leaves adhesive on it before you even print it. I usually cut a quarter inch off both sides of the material before printing on it since it could cause havoc if it gets in the print head nozzles. .
  13. Question glass chipping issues - glue doesn't want to chip

Did that once at Butera school of art. Very cool and can do amazing art and signs with it. Adding Gold leaf makes it better… Post some pics.
  14. Removing Decals...anyone use these Brothers chemicals?

Never tried them but my go to is the larger Bernzomatic propane torch and Rapid Remover. This one works well for larger graphics. Brazing torch
  15. Flat toolbox and trailer prints

Use Cast/High Performance film and laminate. If it’s a 20 year old piece of crap it doesn’t matter. Like Bob said the cost difference isn't much. You don’t want your name attached to anything that cracks, fades and curls. Charge accordingly…
