SP300-V Cutting Issue

Can't figure out why the cuts are not very clean. Seems like the cutter is not starting and stopping the cut at the same point on most lettering, and leaving a tiny bit uncut. This is making for rough weeding. I've been messing around with blade speed, offset and depth but no combination seems to fix it. The blade and blade holder are only a few weeks old. Thanks!

Try a new blade, the tip might be broken.
Doesn’t matter if it’s a few weeks old.
Make sure the blade hold is seated correctly and the screw is tight.

It’s an old machine so could be just wear and tear on other parts…

Also check the cutting strip. If it is grooved at all then replace it. It could also be wear to the cut carriage which can happen with age. I have used and tested carriages in stock if you need one
