Oracal/Orafol 8510 is the easiest to install in my opinion.
If it's difficult to see the vinyl (ie: 3M) through the premask, I ask the sign company providing the vinyl to rub the outline/perimeter/edges with a construction crayon. Pencil lead can easily get on your fingers and find its way...
I've done a ton of these. If you're doing a lot of repetitive, equally spaced pieces, a jig is your friend. Determine ahead of time what the spacing will be and find something that dimension. If there's 1" or 2" between each one, find a 3' or 4' box level that has a 1" thickness or 2" height.

I suppose I could have skipped mitering the end and left is square. That would have allowed me to use longer screws into the endgrain.

I use THIS for small jobs like door vinyl, etc.
I use THIS for medium jobs that might require additional / more specialized tools. The above pouch clips to the outside rail.
For larger jobs, I put the above rolling bag on my cart with the vinyl, ladder, sprayer, etc.
