Looks like this is geared towards home/office based business. That looks like a cheap roll to roll with input/output tables and likely does neither well. I’m biased because I hate HP and their business model. Would recommend buying a small true flat bed and roll to roll from another company...

Toto must have never had the joy of dealing with HP service department. By far one of the most frustrating things I have dealt with. Ditched all my HP equipment and will never go back.

Not sure how this guy is getting away with this. For that amount of money I would be boarding a flight and confronting him in person. People like this have a special place in hell.

Have printer on our Digitech flatbed and works well. Sheeted out to size, masked the bed and printed. No laminate. Has been out 3 years and still no issues. No reason you can’t do it that way.

You must never visit gas stations. These are everywhere and we have printed 100s if not 1000s of these on corrugated and banner. Corrugated is a perfect cheap outdoor material for this. Like OP said print direct, score, trim, pack and ship. Extremely easy and profitably product.

Just bought one from Seal. Haven’t used it enough to give a detailed review but it works great. As mentioned above, idiot proof and extremely easy to use. Was able to reduce our mounting area from 24’ down to 12’. Love the additional floor space and ease of use.

Different medias will run at different speeds for printing and cutting. Corrugated vs magnet cutting is totally different. 1/2” foam vs 3/16” foam is different for cutting. Most of all our materials are printed on the same speed but that is not the normal on most machines. Cutting can be a...

How easy is it change materials from corrugated, acrylic, ACM, wood, etc? The Digitech is going to be a fraction of the cost of the Onset. Not even factoring in service contract…..

So true. Think about the headache this job could become because you tried to save some money on materials. Quote what you would normally use and sell on quality. There is always somebody that will do it cheaper.

Depending on your budget, look at Digitech. They have a fully automated print>cut system. Printer offloads to conveyor that feeds to cutter. They have it setup for several different cutters. Print quality and speed is beyond anything else I have seen.
