  1. Printing translucent graphics

We'd like to print translucent graphics for backlit panels and awnings. Our wholesaler prints color/white/color on white translucent 3M IJ3630 but that's not an option with our RIP. Is there a way to get good color with the backlights on or off using an Epson 80600 with an Onyx RIP?
  2. Wanted WTB 54-62” Seal Laminator ASAP

I have one in great condition. It's the best, trouble free piece of equipment we've owned. Need to move it to make room for new equipment. Located in Massachusetts; not sure what it cost to move to Michigan. Let me know if you're interested.
  3. Static Cling

What static cling media do you recommend to print on? We have an Epson 80600 solvent ink printer/ Grimco carries 3 or 4 different brands with very similar specs. If someone can recommend one, it would help.
  4. Window Perf

Does window perf look the same in the evening when it's dark out and there are lights on inside a building? A customer wants to use perf for an office window to add privacy at night. I don't want to do the installation and find out it doesn't work at night.

  11. Can anyone open a DWG file for me and convert it to a vector drawing?

DWG is a vector format, and Illustrator can open DWG files without conversion. You can use it for a template, but be advised that it doesn't support curves. Curves show up as a series of short lines.
  12. Sign post (bollard)

Thanks for your help. We're going to use a bollard as shown in the file attached, filled with cement with the sign post in it.
  13. Sign post (bollard)

Does anyone know a source for a sign post as shown in the attached photo? It's a steel post, filled with concrete with a traffic sign post set in the concrete. I know where to get the parts but was looking for a ready to install solution.
  14. Directory parts suppliers

I have a client looking for a directory for a medical center and likes one they saw online. (Sound familiar?) Does anyone know where to buy the hardware required to make a directory like the one in the attached photo?
  15. Alternative To Gemini?

I still use Gemini after 25 years, but the majority of my orders now go to Steel Art. Steel Art quotes dome in much faster than Gemini. Steel Arts patterns are accurate, Gemini's simply are not. It takes half the time to install Steel Art letters because of the correct patterns. And Gemini's...
