    I use Versaworks. I would use the variable data feature, after putting the data from Excel in the right format.I haven't done it for 900 hundred items, but have done it for over 100. As mentioned earlier, the hardest part was reading up on how to use the variable data, real easy after that.

    While not perhaps ideal, Illustrator does have the capability of using variable data. You could set up the list of numbers you need using Excel or Google Docs and then feed it into Illustrator.

  12. Ups Yes Or No?

    Same here. All our equipment has a UPS. Those that don't, are surge protected. The UPS is nice because it smooths out the power going to the machines. Cost of the UPS is minimal compared to the cost to repair. My 2 cents.
