  1. One-step away from buying a channel letter bending machine.

    We went with SDS about a year ago. Mainly use it for trimless exhibit type letters. Have only made 1 set of actual channel letters for a building! Once it's dialed in and you get the rout file side of it in line, everything works very nicely.

    We run straight up from the roll and just use the weighted cross bar. Never set up with the whole wrap over bar. Will get some minor walking over very long runs, but typically not an issue.

    Love our Summa ST-160. Can't say it's the best, but after 8 years can't really see what would be a complaint. Looks like you've got 3 options at basically the same price - imagine whichever you choose will become your favorite!

    Negative margins should do the trick assuming the print is oversized - I usually add .125" all 4 sides and negative margin .125" all the way around.     Well, thanks for the input, went back thru the firewall rules to allow port 8090 and deleted the most recent updates on the computer. re-booted printer (for the 4th time) and all is well. Having to go thru to make sure something else on the network didn't jump in and camp on that IP address...

    Set up our new 570 yesterday, all was well. This morning, not connected. Getting unable to connect to the following required ports: 8090 Went into windows firewall and allowed or opened 8090. Anyone else have issues with this? Onyx was no help as it's an "IT" issue. thanks in advance!
