You need to do competitor research before you do anything else. Know their out the door pricing and see if it’s worth it to even try to compete. Order some small batches of stickers from a few of them to see how it’s packaged so you can be on par with how your main competitors package and ship...
If you are screening them already and it’s effective couldn’t you invest in an automatic screen printer? I’ve seen them used in a local shop here and it’s as automated as it gets.
It really isn’t a problem to back up the files and hand them over to the new owner. Can either be a hard drive or on the cloud. That’s pretty standard. It’s complete understandable to not want to hand over a computer.
I’d want the phone number and to retain the business name as well since they...
Do yourself a favor regardless of what variables you choose to start basing your pricing from. Create a spreadsheet and include all of your actual costs. Not just cost of the substrates but also the costs to run your shop like equipment purchases. If the average lifespan of a piece of equipment...
Its a business cost. You're not honest if you are saying you dont make mistakes...even if they are rare. And if you have employees they arent perfect either and at some point a mistake they make will cost you money. The title of this thread literally states "new guy" and the fact that hes asking...

My calculations for estimates is based on what I want to profit from the job. I typically mark up supplies/job costs by 250%, then I charge $1250 for labor per day so if the job is going...
I’d pay 1-2k for a website like inkmonkey…but only if I thought people would buy the product. I don’t think people would buy from it. I don’t think it’s very marketable…and for that reason I’m out.
Are there any sales since going live? Without any actual sales you can only base the value of the site off of what you think someone would pay for it. All of the time and money you spent on it may have been a moot point when it’s all said and done based off of all of the above comments. If I...
The website was started back in 2017 and has always been a very part-time gig. We primarily sell vehicle specific graphics. Hood decals and various sized wraps are the primary sellers. We have several customization tools on the website for customers to design their wraps or hood decals and see a...

they have a huge font bundle and a ton of clipart bundles in addition to the vehicle graphic vector files you see on their site. Contact them and they'll show you all they have.
Not much use at all. Still in like new condition. The self-healing mat has no gouges and very little cuts. Roller has no flat spots, works perfectly. Roller is pneumatically controlled up/down. The oil free Rollsroller compressor (RRX) is included.
Bed length is 11'2" with a usable working area...
I don’t think 3d printed letters are a “professional” option. The finish isn’t smooth unless you use acetone to smooth it, or use a filler and sand it smooth then repaint. That’s the only way I feel you can achieve an acceptable professional product.
Additionally, you’ve now limited yourself...
