I ran one out once on my 310 and had that same result. I just make sure and never run them out now, and I've got ridiculous miles on these print heads since I haven't done that again.

I put a job in Onyx that it apparently hates, and it opens up, but won't let me do anything but force close it, and do it all over again. I'm trying to figure out how I can go into a file folder and delete the file that's hanging it up, but I've looked through all the onyx folders and can't...

I ran it for years in my Mimaki's when I had them. I'm sure I saved a butt ton of money. They both kinda started giving me trouble after a couple years, but that could just be the nature of a solvent printer and how much more maintenance they need than a latex too.

I'd be interested to know what people have had with results using aftermarket. I had a Mimaki JV3 for like 7 years and never had any trouble with it, but it did seem to require a lot more maintenance (solvent) once I switched to Triangle or Bordeaux the last couple years. I also had a Mimaki...

We've done lots of Mesh and 13oz this size and never had any issues. Kind of depends how it's being installed how much reinforcement you put into it around the edges and corners though.

Man, those are only good if the customer learns their lesson, turns out to be a good dude, and has no problem paying sky high prices for a rush job for being a turd the first time.

I snapped mine like two years ago and fought with it forever till I realized I could just steal one off the takeup reel. I was thinking I'd called HP and they told me hundreds of dollars too...I figured I'd just fight it instead of paying that crazy money.
