Okay. I know it's frustrating. My thought is that at least I can still get parts for the 1624. It's work keeping up with the maintenance. I change out the maintenance station every 3-4 months. I change the wiper and pad every month. I also order this chemical to clean the mutoh...
Hmmm...Did you run a charge? You might try a little charge, long clean and then a nozzle check.
You didn't list that you tried that yet and I'm just trying to think of the steps I take with my machine.
You might have to prime it. I've had that issue before. There are two hoses below the station. I use two syringes to try and pull ink from the lines while the head is locked over the station.
There was another question like this recently. I did a coffee truck about 3 or 4 years ago that I wrapped in 3M Matte black. I then overlayed graphics using Arlon 4500GLX with a 3420 satin lam.
No problems as far as I know of. I've seen the trailer a few times and it still looked pretty good.
The Mutoh is funny with greys. I use a spot black and I'll use a precentage of that black to get a good grey. So find one that is close to grey you need.
Then go to the Output settings tap in the Rip and Print manager. From there, select color settings. Then click on the rendering intent tab...
I don't think there's any really good retractable banner stands. They're all kind of crap IMO. I tell my customers the same thing. Most of my customers "accidentally" let the banner go and I end up having to recoil it for them. I get mine from JDS. They have some for about $30.00. I use ultra...
I print a lot of window perf on my Mutoh 1624. I've never seen this happen. I agree that it could be a bad roll. Is it coming off the roll like that before printing or just after?
Try going into your color settings and clicking on the rendering Internet tab. Then go to the vector line and select pure hue. You can select m+y (or red). See if that helps.
I saw this you tube video of utility workers using it to set a utility pole. Don't know if it's worth the money. I'm a 45 year old female and those bags of concrete get heavier every year. I usually have help if I'm doing anything bigger than a 4x8. I'll probably just stick with concrete. Thank...
I've never seen such a thing either. I've been meaning to look into Ninja transfers. They print the transfers and send them to you. i think it's work looking into. I stay busy with sign orders that I really shouldn't be messing with shirts anyway. I don't know why I keep taking shirt orders lol
