I've got a large problem after an ultrasonic cleaning and am hoping someone can help. I've got a Roland SC545EX and I had a head that was a bit clogged up like only firing half the test print. I eventually had had enough and researched ultrasonic cleaning, and from what I could read it sounded...

Sounds like a head soak are in order, any advice on doing this?? Also I've heard/seen some people putting that DX4 head in a ultrasonic cleaner with some solvent, any thoughts on that??

Test prints... Also, these prints look pretty vibrant. It must be the flash on my camera because they don't look quite this good...

**UPDATE** I took everyones advice on the cleaning the cap tops and syringe trick one more time. I immaculately clean around all the cap tops with an alcohol solution, re-aligned a few of them that seemed to be jarred a bit and still nothing. So, I decide to try and pull more with the syringe...

I went home at lunch with a crossover cable, went directly from Windows 7 x64 laptop to printer and still got nothing. I then tried an old desktop I had lying around the house opened up NetTool and it worked right away. I opened up the printer control panel matched it to my laptops setting...

I did have the Ethernet ran through a 5 port switch via patch cables, but I think I'm going to go pick up a crossover after lunch and see if I can eliminate the problem that way by going directly to the Roland. Also, a little more info on the sale. I got the unit from a buyer who has done...

Yeah, I think they call it an investment... For the price I paid for this printer I didn't care if it worked or not, I was just trying to get it loaded in my trailer and get the hell out of there before they changed their minds...
