Pull out yellow in your rip, add magenta. That is the only way we have figured out how to make it "stay" gray outside. Inside it looks a little purpley but our customers would rather have it look gray in the sunlight. Most overlaminate makes it go yellow/green too so the magenta can help...

If you change the DPI, you just need to turn your Head I/O off then back on. You don't have to restart the whole printer. Jeremy

The first thing I would check is your encoder strip, if you have'nt cleaned it in a while it will get dirt and dust on it and it can cause the grainyness your talking about.
