I retired in January 2022 after a 28-year career as a commercial architectural and electrical sign designer. In that space of time, I have worked for or freelanced for sign companies and sign shops nationwide. I have used a pseudonym here for many years as a member, but I am revealing name...

As a freelance designer pre COVID I charged $35 an hour. After COVID, I reduced my rate to $25 an hour.

I upgraded and tried to get a refund. No such luck. So I just retired in January and I give up on future versions.

I just do not use Font Mangler. It is a mess.

IT sounds like you need a designer that can make pattern files for routing machines. This can be done in Corel Draw as full size vectors that can be exported to FLexiSIgn or other CAD CAM programs.

SInce I use different scales On a technical drawing, I immediately break apart and ungroup dimensions after I make them. If I leave dynamic dimensioning on it causes problems going from building elevations to detail pages.
