Hello there-- Latex can print on fabric, but it won't last as long as dye sublimation, if you're looking to wash often. Latex ink sits on top of the material. Dye Sublimation actually dyes the fabric.

Depending on your targeted customer, have you ever thought of canvas foam board? You print on it, cut it with an angle cutter and tape it together. It's cheap. It's obviously not true stretched canvas or anything, but it looks good.

Durst P5-350 or the HS variant. You can't go wrong. Don't waste your time with your other idea.
