  1. Everything went...right?

In my area people are very helpful also. If man or woman goes in the ditch during a storm some guy with a pick up truck is close behind pulling you out.
  2. A new level of creepy

gnubler I think he's moving into Gino's basement during his transition, at least that's the word on the street
  3. A new level of creepy

I feel bad for gay people these days. They can't just be "regular gay people anymore" and go on with their lives, everyone wants them to transition. Straight men, gay men, they are all disappearing! Fight the urge Texas! Stay a man!
  4. Window Perf streaks/blotches

Good to hear it's not your printer! A few on here have had issues with the Briteline but others use it...

Sounds to me like you simply did a great job installing and with your customer service - now the customer is rewarding you for that :)
  6. Everything went...right?

That's great! I love a happy ending also! The good jobs make up for the crappy ones

I was wondering if everyone hemmed all their banners! I switched almost all my banners to 15oz and unless they are going outside for a period of time I don't bother hemming anymore either! I just did 35 last week for school, most go in the gym, a few outside for a couple months. The ones I did...
  8. Banner for "Blind Volleyball" need advice on construction

Just wanted to update everyone on this. I used 13oz banner material. I created a 7" flap on top and every 3' put 2 grommets 2" apart on each side. After that was done I applied vinyl decals to it. They installed it and used it this past Saturday and it worked great! They find it a bit heavy so...
  9. t3 miller weldmaster

Interesting. It looks like it really does cut your time down from hand taping. I do a lot of banners but most of them are just smaller quickies like 2'x4'. Quite a few of them are indoors and I don't hem them.
  10. Computer type

Every time I get a new version of Windows I say, "This time I'm going to use it like it was MEANT to be used!" - and then I just revert back to the old fashioned desktop view thingy after a couple days. I always wanted to try all the widgets and cool stuff but with only 8gb of ram...it proves...
  11. Real Estate - Residential - not sign related

We have a few people up here that have them. It's quite popular for people to build one in addition to their house also. They serve mostly as a shop space but have an attached living area, small kitchen and bathroom - like an extension of living space. Those that use it as their home often have...

I never thought of Windows 11...hopefully they still allow the old fashioned "desktop" mode? I have a subscription to Windows 365, I guess I better figure all that crap out.
  13. Real Estate - Residential - not sign related

Just out of curiosity, what type of dwelling are you thinking? I would love to build a pole shed house.
  14. Big magnets

Question on this Glass Adhere - is there an wholesale place that sells this for me to order? I have a roofing company that uses his personal truck but he has to have something on the truck when he goes to large sites but magnet won't stick. He said no more that 25 mph since he gets to the site...
  15. Real Estate - Residential - not sign related

I remember this post!!! I saw some pics of Boudica's house - it's beautiful!!! This post is just over 2 years old. I watch the homes for sale in my area pretty closely (it's a hobby). The market here is still very strong but some are over priced even in this market. IF the house makes it to...

Yup! Should receive it on Monday or Tuesday!

Thanks for the ideas on this thread. I ordered a new computer yesterday. I thought my current one had 16gb ram but my son laughed at me when he saw it only had 8gb. It's definately been slowing me down now that I've had my printer for a year. This is what I bought. I love Lenovo and my current...

  19. Kids learn so fast

That's great! Kids learn so fast, their little brains are like sponges. Impressive that Gino is more advanced than some of the rest of you with his IPhone. I use my talk/text thing often also, it's rather fun becuase mine isn't always as accurate as it should be. Makes for an interesting...
  20. Outbid by competition - fight or flight?

I got an email from the signshop down the road that was sold to a new owner. They emailed me a file for boat decals and asked me how much to print. I replied back, "I'm confused why you are asking me for this, I know you have a new printer in the shop." - She replied back that the printer was...
