Has anyone tried this? Thinking about getting an ecotank printer and when the ink runs out I wonder if we could use eco solvent 2 inks. I have dozens of old cartridges that the Roland wide format printer won't take no more but I know there is still like a 100ml in each cartridge.

First of all store your files on a NAS. i don't think the windows ransomware can hit that. About the software.... to be honest with you i don't use anything on my work pc. At home I use eset nod32 for like 2 decades now.

Can you pull ink from the top of the dampers? I had a choke valve fail on me. Stuck closed or something. Disconnect the tube from the damper and try to suck ink from the cartridge.

Have you tried VW6? I have the same issue with vw5 but no issues with vw6! maybe reinstall vw5
