Just curious how everyone’s doing? I noticed a slow down but I’m still busy with larger projects. The work load is manageable compared to the last 2 quarters in which I was very overwhelmed. Im not so rushed which is nice and cuts down on errors. I have quite a few jobs for business who want get...
I voted yesterday but apparently it didn't make much difference. Still have "Bernie" from weekend at Bernie's at the helm.
My brother-in-law voted before work. Then an hour later my sister voted. Obviously their names were next to each other. She noticed he didn't sign the book!!!! She said...
Yes, you are 100% correct on this. Last night I watched a couple videos and I'm still a little confused however, I did see that entering all of your pricing is easy with a spreadsheet. I already have one so I just need to make some column adjustments to upload it! I am quite impressed with the...
Currently I do my estimating on a spreadsheet and I really do like it but I looked at the SignTracker and I think if I set it up I could get used to it. It seems very similar to my spreadsheet. So now...I have my spreadsheet, Signtracker and Wave. Definitely going to use the "slow period" coming...
I don't...I use Wave Accounting which is free online. I am thinking of switching but I like Wave because it's really simple and clean. So far I didn't look too much at the estimating feature but once I figure that all out I might switch to Quickbooks.
I replaced my pile of job boxes with a monitor that has Signtracker on it! LOL!!!!!
And to be honest...3 monitors is plenty, I'm getting whiplash with 3!
If it's something you don't do often then just order it from Firesprint or Signs365...you will receive in a couple days just upload your file for pennies compared to ordering an entire roll. For vehicles I always use a cast vinyl.
Signs365 is this stuff below and Firesprint would be the...
The photos are from that business Gino found. IF this is his business...BEAUTIFUL WORK!!!! I would be very proud to own this business.
The one photo is from a Bar Mitzvah "inspired by his favorite line of sneakers and luxury goods. Custom made elements featuring Nike Supreme, Adidas Yeezy and...
Just wanted to update. I've been using clipboards and paper since I opened 5 years ago. I tried doing other things and always went back to paper. WELL...the guy on here who mentioned Signtracker caught my attention. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and unless I have paper notes, I don't bother...
My son's friend bought a tailgate decal off Amazon. The vinyl is from China. I said he could apply it at my shop, with my tools, with me watching. All the standard application and cleaning procedures were followed.
Here's what it looked like 2 weeks later. Corner all lifted and 3/4 of the edges...
I guess we do! LOL My son was lucky. He started for a landscape company when he was 16 and worked a ton of hours during those 3 summers before he left. He already had saved $15,000 before he started. Scholarships were in the $1500 range and he had a few. He also worked for a landscaper during...
LOL! I kinda figured we would lose to the Bills...not a big fan of Rodgers anyway.
Unfortunately, it's not my son and she's not my daughter so I can only say so much. My BF wasn't bothered by it until this weekend, she's a very nice girl and it's odd for him to date someone who is nice so he...
My son paid for all his college from working in high school and during college and graduates in February, should have zero debt. He had a lot of scholarships also. I told him my parents kicked me out after a few months after I got my degree and he will be out also - that's just the way it is. He...
I think this is exactly right. I have a couch dweller at my house...my BF son (23) lives in the basement. He had an apartment with his girlfriend but then moved back a year ago and hasn't left. Now he has a new girlfriend who is 25 and she has a 200# dog and lives with her parents who are very...
Just a general statement about how to save money when times are tough, not directed at all towards RJ's students.
There's one class they should require every high school senior to take. It's called "Math for Everyday Living". In this class you clipped out a job in the newspaper, you clipped...
