Do not do it. We just nearly gave one away during our upgrade to new machine. Replacement Coolant pumps cost $800. They fail. Printheads cost $4000. They fail. The final straw for us was the -2nd- time a printbhead control board failed. We paid $10,000 for a replacement, ONCE. When it failed...
Well, we're after a 240" x 120" print area using the attached file. A wallpaper size showed the crop zone after choosing the final dimension, so I'm attaching a PNG with the area of the image I chose for output. My email is lreed@abcoinc.com. I appreciate the help!
Thanks for the quick reply. We have a client with his own star photography to be enlarged to 240x120" and the file was 4mb. I need to give them some pointers or resources.
What tips can you share for either selecting or preparing images? We have a 240 x 120 wall and the client's starry sky image isn't good. I need to give them appropriate direction.
It's a giant leap over our 2015 EFI which was getting more expensive to maintain: $800 coolant pumps, $4,000 print heads....the $11,500 print replacement of two circuit boards is where we drew the line. Also, our morning startups were getting longer and longer, teasing out good nozzle checks. It...
Guess I didn't hit send on my reply: Where is the cut file saved when I select Colex as my cutter? Just curious where I pick up the data to feed into the Colex.
Just ran into an application that will be repeating, where we need some help: tiling large graphics in Onyx and pairing with our Colex flatbed cutter. In the attached graphic Onyx split up this file into panels with overlap. We trimmed manually and the installer overlapped. We're started to get...
I'm not certain if my operator tried reversing orientation. I have a leftover printed piece from the job that is waiting for experimentation. Funny thing though: he's just one guy and actual jobs leave little time to just try stuff.
Would this product replace 3M 40C? We've used some 3M IJ40C and IJ180 but I'm not sure they're necessary in place of a GF 203 or 285. Still trying to work out what to keep on hand without trying to stock EVERYthing. We do transfer graphics, wall murals with overlapping panels, and occasionally...
Well, the picture is larger than just filling that low wage position. What about the people following the process, paying the fees to GET legal so they can work and pay taxes and have the legal rights and responsibilities that other citizens possess. We should not ignore that law/rule breaking...
We just installed an HP R1000 latex printer to supplement our HP Latex 570. We were doing some prints on 1/8" and 1/4" Sintra, aka expanded PVC. Our Colex flatbbed cutter cnc, yielded some not so clean edges. We had to go back and peel away the wavt, stretched edges of the print, or use a razor...
