I have pretty good results with Flexi's default RGB palette Red. PMS485 PC looks very bright on our Mutoh, as well.

I'll toss in my vote for Graphtec- and, as a number of others said, get the 54" at least. I've also had good luck with the Mimaki CG-160FX.

I would assume it's in your machine's settings somewhere, but I'm not familiar with what you named. If not, I know Flexi's Production Manager has machine settings in it, as well. Perhaps your software does, too.

Sorry, I missed that it was one material only. In that case, I would guess a defect- a contaminant somewhere in their process is getting on the material. Try writing it. In the early 90s, I worked for a waterjet company and had to do the programming (CAM was new and we hadn't switched yet). I was so freaking happy when we finally got a program to do that for me- even if it did take more than an hour to do some of the coding.
