Go to a thicker walled aluminum. Put some 1/4" thick plates on bottom and use titan HD concrete screws, best on the market! Get some 1/2" or 5/8" tornado would be hard pressed to take it down...

If I were you I would tell the client to find a graphics package or design that they like and then get back to you. If you start designing stuff for them it could turn out to be a lot of your time taken up trying to find something perfect for them. Google images is their friend
MDO is crap. I stopped using it several years ago. We use .5" coro....lightweight, easy to handle no prep, no filling holes. letter it and get it up. If a client asks for MDO we invite them to use .5" coro or move on. Stuff is heavy also. Why spend all that time prepping and sanding
AVIRA, its not bloated and it doesnt slow my machine down. However, me being on windows 7, AVIRA did inform they would no longer work on my computer, this was 2 months ago. But it was the absolute best AV I have ever had.

as a channel sign gets age the trimcap gets brittle. Once you touch it and its starts breaking then it your fault. I would not venture into this, too much labor
