  1. Proofing templates

    Does anyone have any nice looking templates that they use to email proofs of signage or vehicle wraps to there customers? We are looking to design one, and just wanted to get some ideas for it.
  2. Roland XC-540 skewing

    Def. the encoder strip. We have had that problem with our XC-540 and wiped it down with a clean lint free rag and alcohol. Do it in maintenance mode so the carriage moves away from the capping position and wipe in both directions so you don't get build up where you stop wiping at.

  5. XC-540 Printing too Dark

    If I'm not mistaking, density control only will come out very dark. Try pre-press US. That seems to have given us the best color especially on reds. I am guess you have the profiles all updated, and that you are using one of the RIP C profiles?

    Not for sure if it would effect the sizing, but the clear strip that the carriage rides on can get dirty and cause problems I know when you do contour cutting and printing. If I am not mistaken it is what lets the printer know where it is on the paper. We have cleaned our with rubbing alcohol...
