I have a HP 560 and can create my own profiles and set the speed and heat temps manually. Will your machine allow you to not use a provided profile and make your own. If you can I would do that, I have created my own profiles for every media that we use. When we first got the machine I tried...
We upgraded to the 16H from the 1625 and have a lot of parts available including print heads and coolant pumps. Email me if interested adam@superiorsigns.biz
You can pad print Christmas ornaments as we have done a ton in the past. We no longer offer the service but it would be very expensive to do 1 ornament by the time you make the plate get it aligned and mix ink
A UV Flatbed is not the proper ink or process to be using on garments. There are Direct to Garment printers for this and they are a water based ink that is cured with either a heat press or tunnel dryer. UV flatbeds will not work.
Tear it apart and scrap the metal and keep the base to make a moving cart or table. We scrapped out an old Mutoh and Mimaki eco-solvent printers and got about $500.
If you are printing 2 sided on any substrate you need to make sure you have an exact square piece of material. We typically will pre cut pieces on our Zund to ensure that we have perfect material. We struggled before doing that but have not had any issues since. 1/8" off on the material cand...
We laser engrave plastic namebadges and door plates all day. We also have a rotary engraver. The laser will give you a ton more font options. If interested we can do these and ship them to you no problem.
There are a ton of factors that go into that. Number of colors, quantities and amount of detail in the art. We offer DTG printing in house. It is great for short runs or high color counts. We also have a Digital Heat FX system for printing full color transfers for short runs that cant print...
I dont have any damaged heads but I have 3 new heads I would be willing to sell at a good price. We upgraded to the 16H and have a bunch of parts left over. If interested email me at adam@superiorsigns.biz. Just put 1625 in the subject line so I will know.
I talked to a few shops that started with Esko and switched everything to Zund and said they would never go back to Esko. They are running their Zund’s all day every day so that says a lot. One shop has 8 Zund cutters of various sizes and said the same thing about they felt the zund was a...
I personally would never do a vehicle wrap without lam. Rain will fill the holes and you wont be able to see out of the window at all. We use cClearFocus perf 50/50 with Oracal Optically Clear Lam and have never had the lam stick to the windows in the voids.
I had a EFI 1625 but recently upgraded to the EFI 16H and have the EFI 24F. The 3M inks wil initially be tackey but will go away after about a day or so. I have had zero adhesion issues but I only print on Matra Plast coro. As far as leaving streaks you have to wipe and not let air dry...
I researched all sorts of cutters/routers and went with a Zund. Yes they are expensive but they will do everything and do everything good. We route all sorts of stuff and have done up to 1" acrylic. On acrylic we go straight from route to flame polish with no steps in between and get a...
I have printed on it without problems, but prefer MatraPlast Coroplast. Check with your supplier but it should be a digital substrate and no need for primer.
