    Here a few things we do when banding starts: 1. Clean encoder strip with isopropyl 2. See if there is static from your environment being too dry. 3. Adjust heat settings on the printer

    We use Marabu inks in our vg540. We didn’t make the switch either! The Marabu inks are plug and play. Been using them for over two years with no issues at all!

    Check if your pinch rollers have cracks. Also, turn your heat off when cutting. These printers aren’t really that accurate after so may feet / inches. A dedicated cutter such as Summa or Graphtec will produce much more accurate cutting on long runs.

    Hmm...the specs say 5m of accuracy for the CE. I guess it all depends on adding more registration marks.

    We are looking at purchasing a dedicated cutter. Need better accuracy than what our Roland VG can produce. Narrowed in down to either the Graphtec CE7000-130 or the FC9000-140. We don't do huge production runs of decals, etc. There's about a $3500 difference in price. According to specs there...

    I agree with you all and our prices have been adjusted and will continually as materials rise in price. Always looking at reducing costs. A little here and there can add up to thousands in a year. Not only that, with material shortages it's nice to have alternatives.

    We've been using Arlon 4500 gtx for everyday go to vinyl Prices (as with everything else) have jumped up $40 a roll. Looking at something comparable such as GF203 or 3M IJ35c. Any suggestions or preferences?
