I'm wondering how the "colored" wrap vinyls (oracal 970, etc.) would work in this situation? Are they plotter friendly?
Does the cobra have a vintage (rare) ford 427 side oiler or a stroked 351 windsor?... please don't say a chevy bb 427... that would be wrong!
I have a HP Z2100 pigment printer and use it from time to time to print small outdoor signs and yes the prints (laminated) last very well outside.
Aqueous prints are quite capable of lasting outdoors, but the media is soooo much more expensive compared to solvent media.

I need suggestions on mounting 3'x4' paper maps to a "somewhat" rigid substrate. I was thinking of 3/16 adhesive foamboard (easiest) or mounting the paper to 3mm pvc with spray adhesive, but not sure about the expansion rate difference (indoor) between paper and pvc. Any suggestions?
