I use rap tac (wet)when installing. The issue is, frosted vinyls are so thin when you add design and cuts and holes, the one vinyl tutns in too 100 different pieces. If the frosted doesn't have cuts, its so much easier. It's the dam cut out areas.

It takes me 4 hours to installe frosted window film with design cut out on it. The job looks unprofessional with wrinkels and I also look unprofessional, even though I am :rock-n-roll: Any suggestions or techniques on installing frosted vinyl with intricate design on them.

just did another on uni- the banding is more visable. I am not sure on the what channel i am using, i dont see the option for channel

I am using flex 8 I am printing on 3m car wrap material. I tried on uni-directional as well, same no improvement. Actually Bidirectional is better. thanks for all the replys.

I didnt know if this was in the boarder line where it can get fixed, but you sound as though this is way crossed the line. I am in maryland, the few techs I know b.s it alot of times. How do I find a factory licensed tech? Its worth it.

I think its the same issue I had with my Mutoh, you need air blower,alcohol and lint free material. You need to open the cover on opposite side of the head, there you will see a circular plastic round with encoder you want to blow air at that area and clean the circular with alcohol.

No clear digital vinyl for printing, no for lamination.

For store front window advertising. Need it 2-3 yrs min.

No the heat settings havent changed the banding.

The heat setting is not doing anything, Also, my problem started after my semi head collision, do you think the banding has anything to do with that?

I am using preloaded profiles, 3m, avery, oracle and few other.

i used alot of my good vinyl, testing out the print, so I am doing my test prints on banner vinyl. I was printing on 3m car wrap vinyl and it showed up even more.

how do i check if my print head is leveled? and how do i balance it?
