  1. Laminating problem with printed viny

How do you know? Not trying to be a d!ck but for long runs I double check and trim as necessary to get a perfectly square lead edge. Also, it isn't a pressure issue. You're not loading it perfectly square to the nip point. Solution? 1) Make sure the lead edge is perfectly square. Take...

  3. PerfCutContour Settings

Not that long go there was a lengthy thread regarding perf cutting. Someone commented they don't use perf cut just kiss cut twice. I've used that method to make patterns for lettering and it works pretty well. BTW I'm running a Summa.
  4. Need more Fonts

I mainly use these two when I need something. Letterhead fonts are incredible. Letterheadfonts.com SignDNA.com I have found that even though there are roughly 600 fonts on my system, I only use a handful of them. Take a look at layout books. Simple fonts with solid layout, kerning/leading...

  8. Window Perf

Some vehicles come from the factory with coatings where nothing will stick. Lexus used to be or still is one of them. Other times it could be the way the glass was processed. I can't remember the exact chemical(silicone) but it "bleeds" out of the glass and it never goes away. Had a van...
  9. Vinyl removal from hell

This ^^^ I would try steam on the backside. Might loosen the adhesive better.
  10. How would you deal with a low res logo file?

If it's only a couple minutes I just do it. You will waste more time with emails/text/calls trying to resolve it. Most times customers don't know how to fix it or come back with something worse.
  11. American Flag Horse Tailgate Design

Maybe the place that sells them will print what you need.
  12. Hp latex print and turn side ways to cut?

  13. Hp latex print and turn side ways to cut?

Unless something has changed plots need to run the same direction as the print came off the printer.
  14. Lets go back to funner times.......

Fellers was our go to way back when. We used to buy the hemmed and grommeted rolls of banner. Had them do custom sizes too. Still use Fellers for wrap kits and other vinyl.
  15. No Cast Wrap Film?

Arlon 6000xrp/3220 gloss is our go to. Last time I ordered it had to come from New Jersey instead of Milwaukee which took days. Never had an issue before.
  16. Banner Stand

Client wants to match this(see attached photo) but in a smaller size of 12" x 30". New spec also calls for graphic to be 2.5' from the floor. I've had no luck trying to find the exact unit so figured one of the forum members might know. Whatever I get the extrusions will have to be trimmed down.
  17. Suggestions Ideas for mounting printed acm to plywood?

If indoors you could use J-Channel for mounting mirrors. One strip at the top and one at the bottom. Could also run down both sides for a clean visual. Dabs of Lexel would hold the middle of the panels. Outdoors you need mechanical fasteners.
  18. DTF Printer

Nothing cheap or hobby level when talking about a laser printer for making quality transfers. Want the least expensive way to get into t-shirts? Have a place like FM Expressions make the transfers for you. Then all you need is a heat press. There are others besides FM out there too. You...
  19. New JV150-130 Owner, Need to Transport

I don't know the situation but unless the previous owner is going to assist with loading I'd take a helper.
  20. SP300v ribbon(cables) going to print head "slapping" while printing

Before I replaced the ribbon cables on my SP540V I took lots of pictures and exact measurements. Also laid down painters tape and marked all critical locations of the various bits 'n' bobs. What I'm getting at is I set it up exactly as it came from the factory. No deviation, no close enough...
