  1. Supplier for bulk quantities of 3' x 8' decals?

Understood. We just had the same thing happen with a supplier who had been very good although their quality started going down over the last few years. We finally had to switch vendors after a major screwup on a job.

Well, it will suk no matter what. Maybe divide the sewing into 2 parts, one on each side. That is how I would handle something like that. I am assuming it is text.
  4. Is my pricing too high for printed vinyl?

Radio stations are the same way. We had a contract with one to provide polos for staff and decal up a van and a motorhome. In return we got the back of the van for our ad, advertising on their radio station ( that nobody listened to) and they did the 'game of the week' for local high school...

  7. Zelle scams keep popping up

Yeah, PCI is a waste of time for a small shop like ours. We don't store or keep credit card numbers and we use our merchant processor website for certification and also their equipment or website to process payments. We don't have a web store. Everything is done local and 99% of our orders are...
  8. Zelle scams keep popping up

We have PayPal but don't use it any more. When we changed our credit card terminal we went with a hand held that can tether off our phones mobil data. We can now take it on the road, print receipts and all the other good stuff we do with our merchant processor.
  9. Suggestions Recommendations for all around virus/email/malware/ransomware etc. protection?

One more thing I will add is to not use a discount web server. We used one of those for years but our website, on their server which they managed, was hacked and the hackers sent out millions of emails from our email accounts on the host server for months. It generated so much traffic the host...
  10. Suggestions Recommendations for all around virus/email/malware/ransomware etc. protection?

I don't know the mechanics of it. The pods are separate from the router and they manage the soft bits from their side. When I check Shields Up, we are invisible to the internet.

Our mesh network from Plume does that for us. It is pretty good and they continue to improve it over time. Plume.com

Here is a really good resource that has some free stuff as well as a way to check your passwords for crackability and how much information is being shared from your computer. Under Services select Password Haystack and Shields Up! https://www.grc.com/intro.htm
  13. Business Cards

We use U-Printing. Fast and reliable service.
  14. Zelle scams keep popping up

We don't use any of these services. I am seeing a lot of news stories lately about Zelle but other payment apps like CashApp have the same problem. Be careful if you use these. The same is true if you have crypto wallets...
  15. Suggestions Recommendations for all around virus/email/malware/ransomware etc. protection?

If you are running Windows then you have virus protection. A few other things you can do. Cloud backup. We use IDrive but have used Carbonite in the past. Also having a local backup will help. Password Manager. Something like LastPass. You will need to remember or somehow know a very long...
  16. Rain, Ice, Snow sandwiched by summer weather

We have not had a long winter but it was intense. We got 75% of our annual precipitation in just 2 weeks back in January. The last week or so added to that. Looks like winter is now gone. By Sunday we will be into a spring condition and from March on we are normally pretty mild. It has been kind...
  17. Meeting with corporate buyers

A Purchase Order (PO) is a legal contract to pay a specific amount for a specific product and sometimes in a specific timeframe. A Pro Forma Invoice is the opposite where you guarantee the same. You want PO's because they protect you. We had a situation a number of years ago where we delivered...
  18. VS-300 End of sheet when I still have sheet

Yeah, something I didn't think of but it was quite stiff in the back. I did the hole cover. The only issue with that will be a true run out situation.

Go figure, In Sunny SoCal (most of the time) we have had Rain, Snow, Hail, Sleet, Sunshine and Incerating Heat, all in just a few months. This happens every few years here but it is treated as something nobody has ever seen. Looking back on some history it was somewhat common to have snow in...
